I became involved in the MS Society when one of my best mates was diagnosed with the condition. I did not really know much about it. I contacted the society to try and get involved in an event to raise money and joined the committee and now I am Treasurer. 

It is satisfying being able to help those with the condition by organising and raising events throughout the year for our members. The money that is raised stays in Jersey to benefit local people.

We can help with alternative therapies and specialist assistance such as adaptations to cars to assist those with MS be independent.

I have ran London marathon before and I had horrible blisters and the last half of it was horrific! However I have vaguely forgotten about the pain and misery and decided to do it again on home turf!
