In early July 2018 I will be paddle boarding the non tidal part of the River Thames from Cricklade to Teddington Lock. My wife will be joining me on her own board and raising money for her own chosen charity.

We’ll start our journey at the head  of the Thames River and walk the first few unnavigable miles to Cricklade where we can finally get on our boards. After that it’s a 139 mile paddle down-river portaging 45 locks and paddling up to 30 miles a day. We’re expecting some blistered hands and very sore legs! 

We will be paddling with charity donation buckets and bothering any passing members of the public for donations too!  So if you see us please don’t run away.

Their services give deserving people advice, enable their independence and most importantly for me - combat loneliness which is something i’m sure we can all agree is a horrible and shameful by-product of our modern society.
