I sadly lost my beautiful mum in March 2020 to the dreadful Disease COPD. Watching my mum fight this for 10 years was heartbreaking. Seeing her struggle to breath, loose her independence and mobility was truly the most heartbreaking thing I have watched. 

In hope that I can bring more awareness and support to people suffering from this disease and for their families would mean the world to me. 

I have therefore decided to do something way out of my comfort zone. I’m not healthy myself and overweight, exercise has not been something part of my life and as I’m overweight I find it difficult to do exercise. So I need to do something to change this. I know my mum was always worried about my weight. So not only to change things for myself I want to do this for my mum too. 

I am going to walk 100 miles over a 6 month period which broken down is 4.1 miles per week which may not seem a lot to some abs done tuning a lot will do on a daily basis but for me who does no walking this is a big thing.
