My 12 year old niece Heather has taken on the challenge to run her first ever 10k. Heather completed her first 5k race along side me in 2012 and is now ready to take the next big leap to the 10k mark.

She is running with a purpose and that is to raise money for cancer research. Her Pops - my Dad is still fighting this horrible disease and I know that every penny counts when it comes to finding and funding new research.
