I am so lucky to be able to give my children everything they need - food, shelter, love. (obviously they scream at me and refuse to eat their Brussels sprouts, in response). I can't imagine how life feels for a teenage mother in a slum in Nairobi who cannot give her children what they need to grow and to stay safe. This is a tiny charity which I have followed for a few years - it was started by a Dundee family, and works to protect children and support families in a Nairobi slum. What they can do with even the smallest donation makes such a huge difference and I think they are amazing people.
