My Mum has lived with ME for many years and so I have seen at first hand how this condition can affect lives. ME is often misunderstood and those living with it face a constant battle to access the medical care and help that they need. A battle that they can really do without when struggling to do everyday things - things that I take for granted that I can do with ease.

Invest in ME (IiME) is a charity that you might not have heard of before. Their main aims are to educate people about ME and also to raise funds for research into the condition. For my Mum, and many other people like her, advances in the understanding and treatment of ME are long overdue.
