Herne Bay Roller Hockey Club 1910 (a charity supporting charities)

Coming out of lockdown, we thought we would take on a challenge to get our young players fit again and in the process support other young people, through different charitable organisations 'Kids Cancer Charity' is one of them.

The challenge for this group of young players is to, accumulate 1000 mile plus on 'push bikes' using the trails, footpaths and bridleways of the North Kent coast. The challenge starts, from when we are again allowed to train outdoors and finishes when we are allowed back inside on the hockey rink :) 

The 'Just Giving' link will remain open for a total of 30 days allowing riders to complete their contribution to the accumulative mileage and sponsors to share the link to the challenge and donate.

Midway update:

Our 4th group ride out and the Team have broken the halfway mark, accumulative mileage 509.19 miles, accumulative punctures 3 and a draliar fix. Snow, rain, wind and we've had it all, its all downhill now (honest)
