Thanks for everyone for helping us raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice!

Together we have raised £4,800, being the total here of £4,370, plus £430 which was given directly to Arthur Rank Hospice following a collection after a Memorial Service for Helen.

We are truly thankful for the help and support of this amazing charity who had given care to Helen both at home and then as an in patient. Helen's own strongly held belief was to express gratitude whenever you can - and this is what this appeal represented.

There are hospices all over the country which are run almost entirely on a charitable basis, but Arthur Rank were looking after our precious Helen. They gave her the kind of care that we would all wish for when we are vulnerable. The kind of care you receive as a child, give as a mother, and which looks and feels like love.

So many people have given their support to this appeal and we are so very grateful. Helen would be truly heartened to know how many people loved her. We miss Helen every day but take comfort in knowing that her grace and kindness touched so many lives throughout her own time here on earth.
