There was no one quite like James. His smile was always one of the first things you'd spot walking into a room, and that's because he was always so keen to make people feel welcome. He had a gift for that. Extremely personable and unfailingly positive, he'd bustle over and crack a joke and a firm handshake would quickly follow. It would take too long to write everything we loved about James here, we'd be writing all day - and the Yorkshireman finance director in him would have a thing or two to say about that! - but warmth, integrity, enthusiasm, intelligence, humour and a passion for life were all things that were very special about James.
Beaumond House was the hospice that came round and cared for James at his house twice a day, and they were absolutely amazing - it would have been difficult for James to be able to stay at home without them. So, to honour our friend and help raise money for Beaumond and their important work, seven colleagues from Hiveworks are going on a London-Paris cycle ride. Please support us and give generously.
