A team of dedicated cyclists from across the OnSide Network are undertaking the mammoth challenge of cycling nearly 500 miles from our most northern Youth Zone in Carlisle to what will be our newest Youth Zone in Croydon!

The aim is to bring together a group of riders representing all Youth Zones, including staff, volunteers and patrons - all fundraising for their own individual Youth Zone.  Cyclists start at Carlisle Youth Zone on the 21st October and will cycle to every Youth Zone across the country, covering a huge 500 miles in only 5 days, before reaching the final destination at Legacy Youth Zone in Croydon on Friday 25th October 2019. 

The Hive Youth Zone is a state-of-the-art facility for young people aged 8-19, or up to 25 for those with disabilities or any additional needs. Open every day of the year - after school on weekdays, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays, giving young people 'Somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to'.It provides a fun and inclusive environment which includes : a climbing wall, a four court sports hall, a boxing ring, a fitness suite, a football pitch on the roof, a dance studio, a film and media suite, a music room (including radio station  & sound recording booth), an arts room and fully equipped hair salon. 

Andy, our Grants and Trusts Officer, is representing The Hive in this incredible fundraising endeavor which will push him to his cycling limit!
