Story

Hey everyone! I'm (attempting to...) run the London Marathon in Aril 2019 for Brain Research UK!

Brain Research UK is an amazing charity who fund research into neurological disorders which effect millions of people. The work Brain Research carry out help those who have suffered from strokes, dementia, Parkinson's, motor neurone disease and many other neurological conditions.

Earlier this year, my legend of a Grandad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and sadly we lost him March this year. Motor neurone Disease is a terminal illness that causes unrelenting loss of muscle function day after day. The research that's been done has given experts a greater understanding of the disease and its mechanisms, but there is still no effective treatment. Much more needs to be done. I'm running the London Marathon so that Brain Research can carry on working hard to find ways to treat people suffering MND and other brain diseases.

Anything you can donate will mean a huge amount to me, my Grandad and anyone else who has had to go through a horrendous experience of a neurological condition.

Wish me luck and see you on the other side!
