Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Hoylake Calendar Girls are a group of women from Hoylake, Wirral, who are baring all for a Full Monty style 2019 calendar, to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Research.

Debra Armitage (also known as Debs) founded “Hoylake Calendar Girls”,  pulling together a group of local women (aged between 18-70 years) to pose for the calendar, using local landmarks across our picturesque seaside town as background for the shots. Vicky Evans, Photographer, has offered her time for free, using landmarks such as local shops and bars (including The Side Bar at the Sidings and The Potting Shed), the Municipal Golf Course and a whole host of other landmarks.

Debs was inspired by the recent Colleen Nolan programme, The Real Full Monty, and because there is such a strong community in Hoylake, we just knew that there would be great support for this project.

We all know someone affected by cancer, cancer does not discriminate by age or gender, and we hope the calendar will raise some much needed funds for Clatterbridge who do such a tremendous job supporting those in need.

We have created this page for anyone who wants to support this project and would like to donate to the charity, but who does not want to buy the calendar itself. If however you do want to buy the calendar, please contact debraarmitage@yahoo.com for a list of stockists or visit our online shop (due for release in August).
