Hurstmere is proud to continue their work with the Tag Rugby
Trust and are preparing another tour to Zambia for 2018. Hurstmere has been working alongside the Tag Rugby Trust since 2009 and this upcoming tour will be our 6th tour and our goal is to build futures through rugby.
Hurstmere School will be taking 18 students who will get the opportunity to help some of the most under privileged areas in Zambia. The impact that the students will have on these areas is profound and it will be an experience that they keep with them for the rest of their lives.
With your help we will look to continue and add to already
existing projects that we have started. All of our projects have the aim of being sustainable so that the goal of improving lives through rugby can be achieved. The on-going projects include a water tower in the Linda compound that supplies water to over 30 000 people, a chicken coup which helps provide income for the Linda compound, providing a school uniform for an Aids orphanage as well as other projects.
With your help we can continue to assist and improve the
lives of the under privileged as well as provide a group of Hurstmere students
with an experience that will leave a lasting impact on their lives.
