We are doing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise awareness and funds for a charity called Small Steps. Small Steps helps children with physical disabilities, aged from birth to 5 years, working on all areas of their development, using the principles of conductive education.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.

ISG have been lucky enough to work with Small Steps in creating their new facility in Richmond. Whilst we completed the works we begun to better understand the Charity and learnt what a truly remarkable job the team do for young children and their parents. The journey was so enjoyable and rewarding that we wanted to continue to help.

The children that attend Small Steps have cerebral palsy, other forms of motor impairment, syndromes or sensory impairment. They need a great deal of extra stimulation and assistance to help them reach even the most basic milestones. At Small Steps, a teacher, conductor and physiotherapist lead both parent and child through a structured programme designed to help each child achieve individualised developmental steps. The work of Small Steps is truly inspirational and we would be extremely grateful for your support for this very worthy cause. Small Steps is a free service and receives no statutory funding, so is solely dependent on charitable grants, fundraising and donations.
