We are fundraising in the loving memory of our dearest friend Idzni Dalila who returned to our Lord on 27th December 2016 at the age of 25. Donations will go to various causes depending on how much we raise such as building a well, mosque, hifz programme, most needy causes etc so that Idzni may reap the rewards.

Idzni was a big part of our lives and was so loving and so giving. She would love something like this to happen, donating towards a cause that supports people and gives others hope. Even though she is no longer with us, we would like to do what we can to support her in the hereafter.

Idnzi aka Doc was from Malaysia, she came to the UK to study and became a doctor. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer during this process, she was only 21 years old at the time, also told she was in the final stages of cancer and will live roughly 1 year max. Despite being advised to stop her studies Doc chose to continue and not give up. She did not want to stop living just because she had cancer and was told that time was running out. She trusted in that life and death is in the hands of Allah and he would decide when it was time for her to leave and she was grateful for what Allah had given her. By the will and mercy of Allah Doc completed her studies this year (2016) and even started working as a junior doctor in a hospital. Many thought this was not possible as she would not live long enough but she did not give up on her dreams and she suppressed the time she was thought to have left Alhamdulillah. It was truly a miracle. She didn’t just become a doctor, Doc got married in December 2015 and she also travelled to various parts of the world. Most of us friends haven’t done half the things she has done. That is amazing Alhamdulillah!

Doc was an inspiration to many people because of the way she dealt with her cancer. She would go backwards and forwards with hospital treatments, be in excruciating pain but still continued to live life in the best possible way. We have never heard her complain about the trials that she faced; sure she was sad and cried occasionally but she did not let that dominate her life and make her world fall apart, instead she stayed firm and put her trust in Allah. She would say “no amount of crying, moaning, sadness and screaming will take the cancer away so I might as well be happy”.This was the type of person she was. She always had a positive attitude and was known for her patience and gratitude. She always trusted in Allah and was grateful for everything. She would constantly tell us how she believed that Allah is testing her but He has given her countless blessings through the people in her life Alhamdulillah, therefore she looked at the cancer as a blessing in her life and all the other good things rather than the negative aspects of everything. She was always looking at everything in an optimistic way. She had an amazing character and was loved by all who knew her; she was someone you could meet for the first time and instantly fall in love with. She touched the hearts of all the people she had encountered on her journey because of the beautiful and kind soul that she had. She always encouraged everyone to do their best and not to be disheartened by things that happen in their lives. Doc was everything you could have asked for in a daughter, sister, friend and wife. Always putting others first and smiling.

Although we are saddened and left with a heartache and longing for things that will never be, we are grateful to Allah swt for ending her suffering and granting her ease. We are truly happy that she was chosen to be purified in this way and pray that it is a means of her Jannah.

May Allah swt make the journey easy for her, may he forgive her sins, may he grant her a spacious comfortable grave, may he make her among those who will be in his shade on the day of judgement, may he grant her the peaks of Jannatul Firdous & may he reunite us with her.

We pray that Allah swt accepts this from us all. Aameen.
