Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page towards Cancer Research UK. They do some amazing and groundbreaking research to find new ways in preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. However, as with all research, they need some moolah, they need me to run/jog/walk/crawl and they need you for support.

For me, it all started because I wanted more opportunities to wear my wedding dress, I didn't want it to just collect dust in a box somewhere and I didn't want it's only achievement to be getting married. So, today, 14th January, I completed my first run in the dress with the support of my husband. We have had no training so we have started out by doing 5K runs but hopefully doing this once a month, by the end of 2017, we may be able to increase our distance! I saw the smiles that wearing my dress put on everyone else's faces and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to raise some money for charity. Once we get to our half way point, £500, Dan will start running in a suit!

I chose cancer research because I have recently lost someone very dear to me and I know that the charity have done so much great work. So please support me and Cancer Research by donating. 

I will be putting up regular photographic evidence of my once a month run.

Yup... my dress is going to get stinky!

N.B. My wedding dress is an Alfred Angelo Disney dress called Belle 206, based on the my favourite Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast. Hence the name of this page. The dress is the beauty, and I am the beast. The beast that will help defeat cancer!
