This summer I will be spending 4 weeks building a fully equipped secondary school for 200 deaf children in Riandu, Kenya.
Currently, most deaf children within the area miss out on secondary education. There are 71 primary schools for deaf children in Kenya, but only 5 secondary schools, none of which are in the eastern province of the country. 

I am really excited to be working with the Peter Cowley Africa Trust as this project looks to combat this serious issue. I will be building in this summer's project which will be the first of three stages.

This is a student lead project so any donations will be much appreciated. Your donations will go directly to materials and services for the building of the school.
