Inspired Bicycle Tours is a family cycle group who have taken inspiration from fellow cycle tourists from all around the world, to create its own cycle tours and also creating memories and stories for life.

Well winter is approaching and most years we manage to get a little cycle tour in. This year due to winter work commitments, we needed to be in Europe and Mel has always wanted to cycle Italy so that's it, Europe it is! However, this year we have decided that rather than ourselves just benefiting from the cycle tour, why can't somebody else? We have just completed another wonderful summer season working for Canvas Holidays and have decided to raise money for their chosen charity 'Family Holiday Association', this is a very special charity who help families who have never been away before. They create a simple break for families who may be experiencing very stressful and emotional situations, thus creating precious memories, strengthening bonds and developing new sense of optimism.

Our route departs on the 18th September 2019, the plan is for myself Paul and my wife Mel to leave our current location at Camping Residence Village, Cavallino, Italy and cycle down the east coast, then cycle from the east to the west over to Naples, where we will meet our Son Oliver and his fiancé Rosie. They have also just completed another summer season for Canvas Holidays in the Ardeche region of France. We will all then continue our cycle tour down to the Amalfi Coast, then back up the west coast through Rome, Florence and Pisa. Upon reaching the French coast we will take in some of the lovely cities before reaching Spain and doing them same until we arrive in Benidorm on the 14th November 2019. We anticipate the entire tour to be approx 2000miles/3200km, however this may change due to adverse weather and time scales.

We have been touched by the Charity's purpose and hope that you will take a few minutes to also read what a difference they make to so many families. If we could just help one family achieve new hope and memories from a break away, then the journey we have completed will have been worth while.
