Our cousin Elias was 16 when he was first diagnosed with leukaemia, but despite this never gave up fighting during his five-year battle, he beat cancer three times. Elias was fortunate to have state of the art treatment at the UCHL (University College Hospital London) in their Haematology Cancer Care department. Research, in time, will find the answers however, Elias lost his battle and passed away in August 2018 aged just 22. Thank you to everyone who  cycled, supported and sponsored us in 2019. We would like to continue our quest to find the answers and help all those that are fighting this disease.

Because of your generosity, the research project in Elias' memory is now up and running!!! This is specifically looking at how the CAR-T treatment that had given us so much hope for Elias, can be improved.

Elias' positivity, humour and strength inspire me to never give up, therefore, we are going to be taking part in a 3 day sponsored bike ride  in July 2022, 270kms from Paris to Poitiers, in a 3-day challenge to continue our journey in Elias' name.

I want to raise money to help fund making Leukaemia curable and every penny you donate brings this closer.

All the money we raise will go to the UCLH Haematology Cancer Care but ring-fenced for a specific research project in Elias' memory.
