My father-in-law loves birds custard, rugby, skiing and above all his family. He tells some of the worst jokes you have heard, can identify a Bob Seger track  within 2 seconds, and always be found at family gatherings washing up...before he then puts plates in the dishwasher. David has also been diagnosed with life limiting prostate cancer.

Penny Brohn, a small charity based in Bristol, has been supporting David since this devastating diagnosis providing a combination of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support. Through their services they are helping him to continue to enjoy the things in life that he loves....bring on the dish mop. 

In order to support this fantastic charitys work I have committed to run the London Marathon. I am a 44 year mother of three, I am no natural athlete and have very short legs but I am going to give it my best, as Penny Brohn is doing its best for David and David has done his best for his family.
