The 5 of us are from 3 rowing clubs coming together through old and new friendships. 

Worcester, Gloucester and Dolphin rowing clubs are joining forces to row in the longest lake rowing race. This is carried out on Lake Geneva, Switzerland. We will row the 160km around the edge of the lake sharing the coxing position, this also gives us time to eat and carry out what our bodies to naturally. 

We are hoping to raise awareness and funds for people suffering with Dystonia. We row with an inspirational friend who has Dystonia and doesn’t not let it stop her. She has a gorgeous guide dog to help her day to day. But her resilience on life is amazing. Dystonia  affects people in different ways plus the levels of symptoms can vary day to day. Life can be hard enough let alone if your muscles  sometimes give up on you and your vision lies to you. 

Although funds aid help and pay for essentials. Together we can help each other. It’s not all about money, understanding and a quick hug can go a long way.
