When we started planning to sail around Britain we wanted to give something back as well as completing a challenge and having fun. SoLO gives opportunities for people with learning difficulties to have a great time with others of own age. They run a range of social and leisure projects in the Solihull and the surrounding area for children and adults and for a range of abilities. SoLO members can't just decide to go out for the day by themselves, and without this organisation their horizons would be limited to home and school, or just home as they get older, so they need the help of organisations like SoLO to lead a fulfilling life.
