The comfort, support and hard work that the staff at St Luke's hospice provide is incredible. Mum spent some time there for respite care when her pain became too difficult to manage at home. They took special care of Mum and gave us the time to recharge ready for when she came back home with a new plan. She came back home fit and fighting, unfortunately that was short lasting and she was back at St Luke's again, this time for end of life care. Everyone made Mum feel so comfortable and during her times of pain, anxiety or simply just wanting a cup of tea they were amazing at fulfilling her every need. St Luke's provide lots of support therapies which Mum enjoyed very much including sound therapy, acupuncture and reflexology.

St Luke's Hospice is not fully funded by the government and rely heavily on personal donations. As well as caring for Mum they also provided vital support to the family at a time of uncertainty and emotional stress.
