Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

(And yes it's amazing how brave/stupid *several Gin & Tonics can make you...)

As most of you know, later this year I am having a double mastectomy, because my current (*)(*) have a 1 in 3 chance of developing breast cancer. By having preventative surgery, my risk will reduce to roughly the same as everyone who doesn't have dodgy genes. And as a bonus, I won't have to wear industrial strength bras ever again 👐

The jump is (of course) a Tandem sky dive and will take place with an instructor at Langar Airfield in Nottingham on the 13th August 2016,  raising money for the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Helpline which is celebrating 20 years since its first launch.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Or you can donate by text simply by sending an SMS to 70070 with the code JAYW97 followed by the amount you wish to donate in £'s.

*10 it was 10 (sort of) double Gin & Tonics. I may not be a mother, but it has certainly ruined me.
