Why we are running...
There has always been a dynamic running community in Portlethen, Hillside, Newtonhill and this has been strengthened within the last year and a half with the creation of our own local JogScotland group, and support from Sportlethen Community Sports Hub.
With the advent of the second Great Aberdeen run at the end of August, there are many local runners participating in the 10K or Half Marathon. Some of us have chosen to raise funds for Aberdeen's CLAN charity this year, as this organisation has recently provided a local family, affected by cancer, with emotional and practical support.
