Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend Justine and I are planning to cycle just under 416 kilometres across Thailand in October 2020.  I have personal reasons for undertaking this challenge as Cancer has impacted on my life over the years and has resulted in me losing many loved ones. However COVID has hit and has changed everyones lives. Unsurprisingly the cycle across Thailand is cancelled.  There are a couple of other options available, but Justine and I haven’t decided which one to undertake.  Please be assured that we will be doing something and as soon as we make our decision we will let you know. 

In the meantime....

I currently support many charities through a variety of ways and have been successful in raising money for these. However my previous level of fundraising doesn't feel like enough, and so I've cranked it up a notch or 10, by cycling or tracking across some  far off land ...who wouldn't?  By undertaking this gruelling challenge, I'm hoping to raise a significant amount of money that will, hopefully really make a difference.  But I can only do it with your support.  For those of you that know me well please remember that I know how much you earn and if you're mortgage free!!!  I need everyone to dig deep!

I am funding the trip myself and so ALL money raised will go to the  3 Charities that we are supporting.

I am planning various events between now and 2022 to raise funds and you will all be notified of these via Facebook/Text.  I'll also keep you up to date with how my training is going and to the amount that we have raised so far.    

I am cycling in memory of; Alan Baines (My Dad), Bob Stuart (My Father in Law), Tommy Heron (My Grandfather), Pat Barnard (My Aunty & Godmother), Jimmy Heron (My Uncle) and Monique Bennett (My Friend)

...and for those who I love that are undertaking treatment now...we can beat this and kick Cancers ass!!!
