Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the BUPA Great Winter Run 2011 on January 8th in Edinburgh in support of the James Gillespie's Trust - though I have not told my legs yet!

I am the current Chair of  the James Gillespie's Trust which is based at James Gillespie's High School in Edinburgh. The Trust aims to alleviate hardship, foster excellence and build relationships between the school, former pupils and the local community

The Trust has supported many varied projects initiated by students (music, drama, sport and science) as well as the links to Zwelibanze High School in South Africa that promotes an ethos of global citizenship within the school. The Trust needs funds to continue these activities and is aiming to raise £10,000 in 2011.

I hope that you feel able to contribute to the work of the Trust which, although small, makes a real difference in both Scotland and Africa. My legs and I thank you!
