Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've started this page to fundraise for Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland in memory of my husband Kevin.

Known to many as Kevy, Big Kev, The Big Man and many more names but mainly my Kevin and Daddy.

Kevin was a true gentleman, a friend to many and a hard working family man. He was fond of a pint, a quick bet and time spent with family and friends. He worked for many years for SGN and was a truly skilled Gas Main Layer.

Kevin was taken from us on 30th July 2015 at the age of 31. To say our world was blown apart would be a major understatement. We still struggle daily with the fact he is no longer here with us. We miss him dearly and with every beat of our hearts we wish he was back here where he belongs.

I struggled to find support for our children, Luke and Libby, in the aftermath of these horrendous events. I've reached out to Cruse Scotland (West Area) and they are now training and placing Child Bereavement counsellors in the west area of Scotland as well as continuing to support any other person experiencing loss in their lives.

I feel that a fitting tribute to Kevin would be to help raise money for such a worthy cause. All proceeds from the upcoming Casino Charity Night, in Kevin's memory, will be donated to Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland (West Area)

Together we can make a difference to people facing a similar struggle.

I would be so grateful for any donation you are able to make.
