Hi! I'm Jodie Dillon (was Dawson) & I have been living with breast cancer for 8 years, 6 of these years have been with a terminal prognosis & in 2014 my prognosis was just 4 weeks. Thanks to some very unhelpful, so called, experts when the first symptoms appeared in 2010 & due to being only 29, I wasn't taken seriously. I'm now facing living with this for the rest of my life.

My aim is to raise as much money as possible for Breast cancer now so they can continue their amazing research which, I have no doubt, has kept me alive this long. We also need to raise awareness of younger women and men at risk too.

I am being wonderfully supported with my training by my local Gymophobics branch who, have not only provided me with the strength training I needed to prepare for the marathon, but also with nutrition & diet plans and even helping with my fundraising ☺️.

I have wanted to run the London Marathon for as long as I can remember & next year I'm finally getting to do just that😆. I will be joined by my brother & my sister,.

Some of us are planning to run in fancy dress and it would be lovely to get our little group on tv!

Please, please, pretty please help us smash our fundraising target of £6000 by sponsoring our team with as much as you can, no matter how small. As the advert says, every little helps!
