I have two great incentives for taking part in this event.

The first is that I get to help raise money for a really important local charity - Cynthia Spencer Hospice - who I believe do wonderful things for individuals and families, improving their quality of life through specialist care services.

The second reason is that I simply love to dance, and don't get many opportunities to do so these days. As an entertainer, you'll often find me on stage singing, but I haven't had the chance to take part any kind of choreographed dancing for over a decade, since my teens. So, I was itching to do something like this, and was over the moon when my application to join Strictly Northampton was accepted!
