We provide life-changing employment support to veterans with health conditions.

Story

The Poppy Factory is probably best known for producing millions of poppies every year for Remembrance Day, as a reminder of the huge sacrifices made by those in the armed forces. What they are lesser known for is their incredible work rehabilitating veterans and getting them back into the swing of life and work.

The transition back into civilian life can be exceptionally tough, especially when you have a major health barrier to employment. The Poppy Factory helps disabled veterans to restore their financial independence through sustainable and rewarding careers, and their ongoing support enables veterans to thrive in their new workplace. Since 2010, they have helped 1000 people back into civilian employment.

This year, the Richmond-based charity is renovating their factory buildings as the charity grows to meet increasing demand for its services. The refurbishment will not only benefit staff and volunteers but also the wider veteran community. The refurbished site will showcase a "best-in-class" facility which champions the employment needs of veterans with disabilities, wherever they may be.

With estimates that there are at least 20,000 more veterans in need of employment, please help me to support The Poppy Factory this year. With your donations, The Poppy Factory can help a record number of wounded, injured and sick veterans into jobs they love this year. We owe it to them for all they have given us.
