Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, on the 7th of September myself and my mate Glenn and I will be attempting to do a West to East crossing of the Lyke Wake Walk. This is a 40 mile walk across the North Yorkshire moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar. In order to officially complete the crossing and gain our coffin badges we need to complete it in under 24hrs. I have decided to combine the attempt with trying to raise a bit of money for a charity close to my heart, this being the Hull Animal Welfare Trust. This is the wonderful charity where we were able to adopt our amazing cat "Darling" from who sadly left us in February. If you would like to read more about HAWT there is a link on this page.
If you feel that you could spare us a few quid to spur us on and ultimately help this fabulous cause I'd be extremely grateful, if not no worries!

If you would prefer to give me a donation when you see me that would also be gratefully received!

About the charity

Hull Animal Welfare Trust was established in 1982. In those 30 years, the Trust has taken in, cared for and re-homed thousands of animals; mainly dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The Trust is based at South Cave and has minimal paid staff, fully supported by a band of dedicated volunteers.
