The Parish Church of Milnrow was consecrated on 21st August 1869 following the demolition of the previous building which was the second building on the site. Milnrow Parish Church has been. and still is, the centre for Anglican worship in the village.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 29th September we are abseiling down the impressive heights (128 feet) of Peel Tower to raise funds in the 150th Anniversary year of St James Milnrow. Although you may occasionally hear it being referred to as "throwing the vicar from the tower,"  Janet has readily agreed to take part!

We're hoping our fundraising will continue to support the ongoing improvements to our church building and facilities; enabling St James Milnrow to remain a central focus of village life and a true community hub.
