During John’s teaching career he experienced the support Marie Curie nurses gave to a pupil who was in the last stage of her fight against cancer and thought it was wonderful . He set this challenge for himself as he edges closer to his 70th birthday. In May hecompleted the first half cycling from Carlisle to John O’Groats. He’s now about to cycle from Land’s End to Carlisle. It’s 720 miles. In total he will be cycling 1225 miles. Please support this very worthy charity.
