Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am personally trying to raise as much money as i can for the hospice in rememberance of my dad, who was a much loved father, respected teacher, and also a well known local blues musician and harp player. As most of you know he sadly passed away on April 1st after a short battle with cancer. He was very well known on the local music scene and a key founder member of blues rock band Spoonful, who were hugely popular playing gigs and festivals all over the South west. He appeared many times over the last few years at The Thatch Inn, Croyde & The Kings Arms, Georgeham open mic nights, guesting with the house band and lived for the love of blues music. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We put on a tribute blues night at the Thatch Inn and thanks to your help raised £500. Now we need to get to the £1000 target and with a little help from friends out there it can be done.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate something towards the target, even if it's just £5, a little goes a long way. We are already halfway there!!

Thanks

Johnny.
