Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias 1983 - 2015

A beautiful son, husband, father and brother passed away on the morning of Friday the 6th November 2015 after battling with Melanoma cancer for the last four years.

Jonray received multiple trial drugs and new treatments that were made available due to all of the research that has been done for Melanoma skin cancer.  Without this he would have been taken from us a lot sooner and we would not have Olive and Bella in our lives, Jonray's two beautiful daughters aged 3 and 8 months old.

Jonray was first diagnosed with Melanoma in January 2012 after we noticed that his mole on his back had changed.  We went to see his GP who then referred him onto a specialist, this is where we received the news that would change our lives forever.

I would like to urge others to please get checked out if you ever notice anything different on your skin or have any concerns as this may just save your life.

Each treatment that Jonray received allowed him to live very normally and happily for a long time.  He was able to do the job he loved and be a fantastic dad and supportive husband.  

Jonray's message is that 'Life gives you a gift every day and you have to use it as best you can as it won't last forever'
