Since I started working for Blackpool Carers Centre, I have been totally blown away by the incredible work the team do to provide support of all kind to unpaid carers across Blackpool, aged from 5 years to 95 years.


Did you know that 1 in 5 children are in a caring role, looking after Parents, Siblings and even Grandparents - many of our young carers just want to time to be kids, so the respite activities we provide like trips out or our Youth Clubs are essential.


The support we provide across all ages groups includes emotional, practical help and advice and we also offer groundbreaking training for those looking after loved ones with Dementia and Mental Health illnesses.

So please ..... support me (and my saddle sores) and make whats going to be a huge 460 miles in 5 days challenge, worthwhile.
