Okay here's the deal. My lovely friend Vevina, who works at Cash for Kids invited me to the Superhero Day 2017 launch last week and when I saw, first hand the work the charity does to support local families, I was moved to tears.

This year, Cash for Kids are supporting When You Wish Upon a Star, a charity that aims to grant the wishes of children with life-limiting illnesses. Hearing from parents and patrons again, moved me to tears (I'm an emotional mess) and I've no doubt you would be too.

When You Wish gives families the opportunity to make happy memories, allows parents to see their little ones smile, and lets those children forget, sometimes just for a few precious hours, about the hospitals, and pain.

I have pledged to raise £250 to support the phenomenal work these two charities do and to achieve it, I've set myself the challenge of running 250km in 31 days to hit my target, and I'd really appreciate your support.

It might not sound like a lot, but the dedication to run everyday and achieve my fundraising goal, while also sustaining my job and family life will indeed be a challenge. (Cue 5am snapchat video's of me crying!)
