Kensington Temple School is a remarkable school, bringing education and care to many hundreds of children in the Kumasi region of Ghana. Through the hard work and sacrifices of its founders - Eric and Comfort Bonful - the school has been built from nothing since 2006.
The school is now raising the first £40,000 tranche of a total £150,000 to ensure its ongoing survival and to complete the top floor, which will house the Junior High School. The school is operationally self-financing, so once these targets have been met, it will be able to stand on its own two feet and look after more than 600 pupils.
What Eric and Comfort have achieved already is an inspiration and Kensington Temple school will continue to improve the lives of many thousands of Ghanaian children (and their families) long into the future.
