Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2014 I lost my brother, my only sibling, to the big "C". In just 9 days from confirmed diagnosis he was gone. As a family we hadn't been touched by Cancer before, how lucky were we.  Those 9 days were probably the most special days we will ever have, yes we cried but ohh we laughed and we loved and we talked - we said the things that needed to be said and heard the things that we all needed to hear - how much we loved Kim and how much Kim loved us.  After Kim died suddenly I became one of the unlucky (to put it mildly) percentage that Cancer has touched and its awful, really really awful.  I want to do my bit to try to help.  I'm very much a kettle to the computer kinda girl so even the training has been an undertaking but with the help of some amazing friends, who have quite literally dragged me kicking and screaming to join this group, I hope I can raise some money for WalktheWalk.  I know this is a Breast Cancer charity but men can have Breast Cancer too - I may have lost a brother but I'm walking for all my "Sisters".  Please, if you can, donate a little and even if you can't wish me and my "Sisters" luck both for the walk and the future Cancer Free xx
