In May, I will be heading to China with my husband Hugh and over 80 other people to trek a section of the Great Wall to raise money for Velindre Cancer Centre - the Hospital Of Hope. 

My husband Hugh has done several overseas bike rides for Velindre but this will be our first trek and my first event, and whilst I'm really looking forward to it I'm also really nervous as I know how tough it will be. 

We will be trekking over 8 hours a day with lots of extremely steep sections and uneven rocky trails, and over thousands of steps, but no matter how tough it will be it's nothing compared to the challenges cancer patients and their families face each day.

So please help me help Velindre.
