Story
Hay there...
Well here's my Just Giving Page, and here's my story why I'm doing this random act of fundraising in July.
You have all known that I am a bit random, and always up for a challenge. Well March 2016 I set myself a challenge to lose weight before I turn 30, to feel healthier and happier, within 12 months I have smashed just under 4 stone and have a bit more to go too. My goal was to complete something I couldn't before the idea of the weight loss.
So in April/May 2016 I met Kate a close friend of mine, From the night we met she was an inspiration with a story to tell, with a book on the way to follow. We spoke for ages about life in general and her story was a gift to listen to and see life in a different way of thinking.
From being diagnosed 10 years ago this year, Kate has got a goal for fundraising and also sharing awareness through her "Invisible Illnesses Page" https://www.facebook.com/invisibleillnesses2014/
So one late evening I had a thought so I contacted Kate and asked if I could join her in her fundraising aims for 2017. Clearly she accepted and on 12th Aug 2017 I will be taking the plunge to raise money for the MS Society. This will be the biggest Fundraiser I have done and hope to smash the target and raise as much as we possibly can for her goal in 2017.
With my fear of Heights in new depths I hope you will join me in raising money for a Charity close to people's hearts. Please Join me in this amazing opportunity and please remember anything counts.
