Charity Registration No. 1011672

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As most of you know I (Kate) am the Regional Fundraising Manager for the Honeypot Children's Charity and I have chosen to do a little bit extra and fund raise at the same time, supported by Simon!

Simon & I have decided to ride the longest & fastest zip wire in Europe at Penrhyn Quarry in Wales! You reach speeds of 100MPH at a vast height and we are doing this on the 2nd June.  The following day on the 3rd June, we will be trekking up Mount Snowdon all the way to the summit.  We are doing this to fund raise for the Honeypot Children's Charity. This will be done with approximate 30 people who have chosen to support Honeypot.  We are covering all costs of the zip wire, travel & stay ourselves, so all money raised goes straight to Honeypot.

Since 1996 Honeypot have been working to enhance the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged 5 – 12 years old. We are the only charity in the UK to provide respite breaks and on-going outreach support throughout a child’s formative years. Honeypot gives young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provides a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.

Don't forget Gift Aid - it makes a difference!
