My lovely mother in law, Ann, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2010. Having relocated to North Wales to be closer to her in 2007, we were privileged to have been able to create many happy memories with her, and support her through her decline until her death in December 2015.   

I will be departing for Beijing on 6th September 2019, 5 weeks after my 50th birthday.

 “Turning 50 feels like a landmark moment in my life. My 40’s have been an interesting and, at times, tough decade with many major changes and achievements. I want to celebrate the start of a new decade by challenging myself - proving that I still can! I love travel and The Great Wall has always been on my ‘bucket list’ of must see places. Combining it with a significant charity appeal for a cause close to my heart seems like the perfect option.”
