Story

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page, raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Motor Neurone Disease is a rare condition that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal chord.

I am Kat, a mum of three children and two (actual) cats! I am currently preparing to face a huge personal challenge and am taking part in the Virgin London Marathon in April 2017.

I have chosen to raise money for this charity in particular as the disease has affected my friend's stepfather, a lovely man of just 52 years old, a mechanic who has mended my car on more than one occasion, a husband and a father of a young teen. Since his diagnosis, this awful disease has taken hold very quickly and when my friend asked me to join her in supporting the charity, I knew I would love to help.

By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND . Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. With JustGiving your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the MND Association.

Thank you again,

Kat xx
