On the 3rd June 2018 I took part in an 8.5 mile fun run to raise money for Advocacy Matters.  With the support from my friends Laura Dunphy and Steph Fox who have provided moral support and fundraising support, we have been able to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause to provide disabled people with a voice.  

Imagine having someone make decisions about things that affect your life without listening to what you want. It doesn't sound right does it? Well, sadly, it happens a lot of the time for some people.An Advocacy Matters independent advocate will support people to have their wishes, views, and aspirations heard by people who make decisions about what they can do; where they can live; where they can go.
