I am a student child nurse and have encountered too many children who have a poor quality of life due to their life-threatening condition. A child’s life shouldn’t be spent in hospital and about illness and diagnosis, instead it should be about wonder, joy and hope.

Make A Wish grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.Whether that wish is to star in their own films, walk with dinosaurs, go on an amazing holiday or meet a celebrity, it is granted by Make A Wish. 

These wishes have a huge impact on a child's life, from creating incredible memories, building confidence and bringing happiness, to providing respite from the daily struggles that come with a life-threatening condition.

A little bit of happiness and some amazing memories can go a very long way.
