Im doing this to raise much needed ongoing funds for the amazing High Peak Women's Aid. I work with Vulnerable Young People myself in my full time job supporting Care Leavers and have worked alongside HPWA for over a decade now. They have recently just launched their Harmony Project supporting Girls and Young Women who are affected by domestic abuse and controlling behaviour in their relationships. Offering accommodation to 16 to 24 year olds who need a safe place to stay, with or without children. They offer planned support which is tailored to suit the young woman’s needs whilst also linking with other agencies to ensure that young women are given better opportunities which will enable them to move on successfully. This is just the tip of the iceberg to the support they offer at this vital service based in Glossop.
