Hi Everyone, 

Many of you know by now I suffer with  Severe ME and actively attempt to raise awareness and funds from my bed.

This year I am challenging myself to make over 100 pieces of jewellery before May 12th ME Awareness Day.

I have been making jewellery for 2 years and still haven't even hit 100 pieces, maybe not even 50... so for myself this is a big challenge.  For someone with Severe ME this challenge is more difficult than running a marathon , it requires constant energy, pain and focus. It will be difficult for me, it will involve me pushing through and having constant endurance. Like a runner constantly hitting the wall, I will have to keep going and making until the event. Wish me luck!

Where those who donate (the suggested amount) for a piece of jewellery will receive that piece as a thank you.

The event is live now but will begin officially on May 9th and continue for the next week (9th-15th May). More information will be given in the event.

There will also be a surprise lucky dip - a ticket is £5. The surprise rewards will be drawn on the last days of the event - May 14th/15th. There are vouchers, jewellery, tarot reading, jewellery making DVDs, tools and much more to be won.

Everyone who donates will also be entered into a separate contest to win an extra special piece created by me. With sterling silver and precious gemstones. This is just another thank you from me. Once your name appears here on the just giving donated wall (DON'T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR NAME) it will all be entered into a name generator to pick the lucky winner. Again done on the last day.

Every piece - except some in the raffle, will have been made by myself. I have set myself a goal to make 100 pieces between now and May. Each piece I make will then be entered into the event as a reward for your kind donation.
