So it's taken me nearly 33 years to get to the point where I can actually stand up and say that I have Microtia- it's a condition that only 1 in 6,000 babies are born with.  Scientists don't know what causes it. Google it if you want to know more. 

I am raising money for Microtia Uk- they have a group on Facebook that I joined at the end of last year, they have opened my eyes to see how special I actually am and I have read some inspirational stories of children, adults and families who have Microtia in their lives. 

I was bullied at school because of it and even in my adult life I still sometimes face challenges because of people's ignorance. However my friends and family know that I don't let it stop me, I have a fab life and do everything I want to do.

I know who I am and I wouldn't change me for the world. #happytobeme #microtiauk
